Bonfyre is out of SGCH Blissberry No Doubt I’m Hot 5*M EX91 and ++*B Wingwood Farm Lucky Tolkien. No doubt I’m Hot finished her championship at her first show in 2017 by going GCH in both of her rings, and at the ADGA National show she was the 8th place three year old. Once she returned home she received the amazing linear appraisal score of EX91 VEEE! She has a lovely, well attached udder that is beautiful in shape that’s high and wide in the rear, nicely blended in the fore with correct teat placement. She excels in dairy strength and shows a lot of power and depth throughout. She also stands on a strong set of legs with short, strong pasterns. She also milked an incredible 3,000 pounds this past year!

Her sire, Lucky Tolkien, has been throwing some beautiful daughters in the Blissberry herd as well, with multiple permanent champion daughters! GCH Blissberry New Orleans 5*M EX91 EEEE, SGCH Blissberry Almost Paradise 5*M VG88 V+EE, and a permanent champion son, GCH +*B Blissberry Bada Bing Bada Boom! Almost paradise was the 2016 ADGA National Show 3rd place junior yearling, and Bada Bing Bada Boom sired the 2019 ADGA National JR Reserve Champion, Blissberry Walking in Memphis!

Bonfyre had a rough year in 2021 after a extremely rough kidding of 4 big kids. After a few months of vet visits, lots of care and time to recover, we got her back in show shape..... only for her to come down with a bad case of mastitis at her first show out! We dried her off in the hopes she would come back even in 2022. Good news, she came back in even!

Bonfyre's first retained daughter in the herd, MDNT GC I See Fire 7*M VG86 (FF)  has already earned her dry leg as a yearling and then went on to take 16th place JR Yearling at the 2021 National show in Louisville, KY! I See Fire freshened with an incredible udder and has been incredibly competitive as a milking yearling going 7x 1st place and 1x Reserve Champion! We are so in love with this line that we retained another daughter in 2022, MDNT RN Through Fire and Flame who was 2x JR Reserve Champion at the incredibly competitive Idaho Syringa show. As a milking yearling in 2023 she has shown well going multiple time 1st place yearling milker. Bonfyre gave us 2 does in 2023, her retained daughter MDNT RD Fire Hazard has been 10x 1st place JR Kid and 1 x Reserve Champion!

We are extremely proud of Bonfyre, who is one of the strongest brood does we have. Every daughter she has produced is fantastic and we jealously hoard almost every one! In 2022, we aspirated embryos from Bonfyre that will be implanted in 2023....fingers crossed!
